All our gummies are vegan. They do not contain gelatin, but pectin and/or starch for structure and binding. The starch comes from corn and pectin is extracted from the skin of fruits. So not from animals!

What sweeteners do the sugar-free gummies contain?
Yes, sugar free Yummygums contain stevia and maltitol. Stevia is a natural sweetener extracted from the leaves of the stevia plant. Maltitol is a sugar substitute containing 75-90% of the sweetness. It is obtained from maltose (malt sugar), which comes from wheat or maize. This sweetener has almost the same properties as sugar, only it is a lot healthier! Maltitol is very low in calories, is better for your teeth and has less effect on your blood sugar level.

Store your Yummygums in the closed jar in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Do not store Yummygums in the refrigerator.

Yes, of course! If you remove the labels, the Yummygums jars are recyclable. The transparent jars are made of rPet. An rPET jar is made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). That sounds complicated, but the bottom line is that it consists of previously used PET plastic. This makes our new jars 100% recycled and recyclable! So, very responsible.

Adults and children over 12 years of age are allowed to take four gummies a day. Do not exceed the daily recommended dose of four gummies.

Possibly, but we have developed sugar free Yummygums Kids especially for children of 3 to 12 years of age. Children over 12 years of age, just like adults, are allowed to take four Multi+ gummies a day. If you still want to give Multi+ to children younger than 12 years of age, the dose is two gummies per day. We do not recommend Yummygums for children under three years of age due to the risk of suffocation. All our jars have a child resistant lid.

No, as long as you stick to the daily dose of gummies, that is within safe limits. Vitamin B12 is the only water-soluble vitamin for which your body builds a ‘reserve stock’. This is a relatively small and non-harmful stock. In case of high intake, the body itself can limit the absorption of vitamin B12 from the diet.

The tolerable upper limit of vitamin D intake for adults and children over 11 years of age is 100 micrograms per day. Yummygums Multi+ contain a dose of vitamin D3 of 30 mcg, which is well below this limit.

No, fortunately not. Our gummies are well below the upper limit for vitamin B6. We always follow to the official advice of the Dutch Health Council when compiling our products.

Our gummies are made with a special vegetable algae oil. This algae oil contains a tiny bit of sugar (<0.04g per gummy), but does not have the well-known fishy taste. This way you can enjoy a gummy with the benefits of Omega-3, without having to suffer from an aftertaste or belching!

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. The best known are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and the fish fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). ALA is in vegetable oils and a little in meat and green leafy vegetables. EPA and DHA are mainly found in fish and shellfish.
